It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 15th Uppsala Conference on Electron Capture (ECD) and Transfer Dissociation (ETD) and related radical directed dissociation techniques (UPPCON 2018) in Leeds, UK from July 16 to July 18, 2018. We hope that you will enjoy both the scientific program and the social activities. They should make for a stimulating and fun atmosphere to learn the latest developments in mass spectrometry!

 

UppCon, started by Professor Roman Zubarev in 2003, has developed into a major international meeting in the field of electron-based dissociation techniques (e.g., ExD,  UVPD) and top-down characterization. The impact of these methods on peptide and protein analysis has been increasingly recognized. This conference provides a venue for speakers from around the world to discuss new insights into radical ion chemistry, the latest developments in methodology and instrumentation, as well as novel applications for biomolecule characterization.

 

The conference is co-hosted by two local universities, Leeds and Leeds-Beckett. The programme runs from Monday ilate afternoon to Wednesday evening. A poster session will feature additional contributions for in-depth discussion. Registration will include 2x lunch and include an evening reception on Monday and a gala dinner on Tuesday.
